If it is an ASISN (sp?) then maybe you will need to use the correct fluid. If it is like any of the Volvo gearboxes by the same maker then you HAVE to or SERIOUS damage WILL occur.
Somethin to research!!

Also Landrover advised me that I need to use their ATF as its different to other ATF's on the market - as far as I can see the only thing different is the price!
