Don't you dare put a non LR engine in that thing.
Even with a 2.25 petrol you will only see around 65 tops from a 109SW. My buddy has a 64 109 here in town with an overdrive and he slows traffic down when he tries to pull some of the hills on the way to work. I got lucky with my 109, it'll do 90+ all day long, but it has a disco engine and is getting an overdrive.
It looks like you have a good digital camera, make sure to take pics of every part you pull off the truck so you know where it goes when the time comes to put it back on. Are you going to keep it RHD or convert it?
