ALAK depending on where you are in canada you may want to get hold of Atraxia ( not sure if he is on this forum ) he has a shop in Stoney Creek and he has designed a slightly beefier Rovrtym style bumper for the D2 and i know he is willing to make a couple of them and at a whole lot less than the numbers you where talking about.
