for a nice growl, rig electric wiring to desired location in your truck, throw a lion iside your truck then piss him off, then every time you wanna hear a loud growl hit the power button on your electric wiring thus shocking the kitty and voila.... a nice deep growl.
or do what I did, a cherry bomb after the "y" pipe in stead of inter muffler and a twin out-put borla rear muffler. it was an experiment and I thought it would sound too chevy or redneck but instead it came out very bmw gurgle tipe almost m type at all rpms, in fact when I off road and hit it really hard and then let off the throtle it has a low grunt back fire. I may add I have 2.5 inch pipes all the way thru, the y pipe is from a 2000 series II disco with custom welded bongs for the classic.
I think the power gain is psycho-samatic just because someone mentioned I would get more power out of that installation.
