The Disco was hesitating when trying to accelerate with a cold engine. I happened to have the hood up one night and noticed some arcing from the ignition wires.
I swapped the wires for Magnecor and changed the plugs at the same time, most wires were fine but one kept jumping off and I had major misfire and hardly any power. Upon inspection, I noticed the Magnecor didn't have the porcelain, how I missed this I'm not sure

Anyway, I changed back to the original wires (waiting for new magnecor) and still had a major misfire and barely any power so I put the plugs back to the standard ones that were in it as well...in theory, I am now back to where I started except that I still have a major misfire and no power problem.
I am not able to get the codes read until Wednesday at the earliest.
Basically, I seem to have caused a major bloody problem and have gone from a slight hesitation that was avoidable with an engine warmup to an un-drivable truck

- any advice would be greatly appreciated
