Whistling noise while accelerating (rather loud)
I own a 2001 Discovery II series with around 100k miles on it. As of lately I began to hear a whistling noise while accelerating on the freeway. It's automatic however the noise comes mainly when in 4th gear and while pressing the gas pedal. As soon as the car kicks in to 3rd gear the whistle noise stops untill the car is again in the 4th gear. Theres no noise while the car is neutral or my foots off the gas pedal. Please help me with this issue as the noise is starting to become very annoying...
