We have had this debate before, but you do not generally need stronger axles due to tyre size. When you need them is when you change things like the diff ratios due to the tyre size.

Toyota centres are not going to change the strength of the axles or CVs. Toyota centres are usually used where you want a greater selection of diff ratios or you have problems with breaking crownwheel and pinions.

Just upgrade your axles. Maxidrive make HD axles that will fit 10 spline centres. They are more than strong enough for most purposes.
