Series 3 1982 2.25 DieselGear Box
Hi
The gear box of my Series 3 diesel has worn out.
I am finding it difficult to get a second hand replacement as I am in Srl Lanka.
However I have been able to find a Series 2 gear box or 2A I am not sure. what difference will it make to the performance of my S3 ?
Will it effect - top speed? , Fuel consumption?, off roadablity ?, Hill Climbing ?
Could it be fitted directly with its bell housing or do I Ihave to use my S3 bell housing?
Please let me know theassistance will be appreciated.
