Stepper motor...
I finally replaced my stepper motor, what a difference it made in start up...before, when I would start it, the engine would idle up to ~1800rpm for about 4 seconds, then slow down to normal after about three more.... now it starts up with no big increase... the '87 v6 S-10 blazer idle air control valve works fine...$34.00 at the local parts store...
