5,000 is a lot for that distance, the max is 5,500! can you do it, yes, but I would use a tow dolly it if possible. Another issue is with that kind of weight from just the trailer and the car you will need to pack lighter yourself.
Rovers already have the oil cooler and such. The wiring harness is your choice, if you go with the flat bed you will want the brakes on the trailer so you will more than likely need a 7-pin with a brake controler. IMO it will be cheaper and easier to just go to a local trailer shop to get what you need!
From there you just need to see how much of a drop the trailer needs and what size ball it takes.
