F/s '92 RRC
With a movie to Florida looming and the purchase of a new car, the time has come for me to sell my beloved Rangie. It's a '92 classic with 116k on the clock and it's green with leather interior, I'll get back to you on the specifics as to the color combi.
pros-
1. It's been given a 4 inch lift
2. It has 31 inch tires (20% left in the front far less in the rear) and has a full size spare(31 inch), with about 85-90% tread left, mounted on a regular wheel.
3. It has a new water pump and thermostat
4. Although it does have some rot, it has less than I have seen on many 'rangers in the northeast by far and most of the typical areas are rust free, if not nearly rust free
5. The previous owner replaced the sunroof drain lines to stop the rust on the drivers side rear door sill (but did not replace the headliner).
cons-
1. It has been used for it's creators intent, so it has its share of dents (not a mall vehicle).
2. The drivers side window will go down if you do not hold the up button, when you turn the key on.
3. The rear window's lower frame has rusted, but it's the last of the two areas that have rot.
4. The driver's side front hub needs a rebuild (pivot ball seals etc...)
Lastly, the oil pump gears have to be replaced due to excessive wear. For now I am running shell Rotella-t 15w40, however this is just a temporary fix. The oil pump rebuild kit is 100-150 dollars online.
Due to the quirkiness of the vehicle and to what will be needed to make it perfect, the first 1000.00 takes it. If nothing else, it's a great vehicle to part out. I just dont have the space (or the heart) to do that myself I will post pictures of it tomorrow.
