Does anyone have any military shackles they could post measurements of or a photo of one next to a standard series shackle? I went a little big on my new tires and I am thinking lengthening the shackles will alleviate some of the rubbing I get on the chassis from the front tires at full steering lock. Here's how it looks now.
If I could get it a little higher I'm thinking they will contact the chassis a little further up on the tire, letting me cut the wheel a bit more if needed.
