I didn't see any installation instructions, but yea that's what I used. I got it from a junkyard for $150. Last time I was at the dealer, I asked about that mechanism, and they said it was about $450, so I'm not sure where they get $700. Do a search on here or on discoweb.org for CDL and you'll find all the info you need
