I find this very hard to believe. In fact, I won't believe it unless I see a pic.
The wing bent up from being jacked??

Yes, I saw it. I may be off on the 45 degree part, but it was bent up sufficiently to push the front corner of the wing up, and bent the front corner of the hood. The lamp was pretty much toast, and I think the hood was repairable, but they were ordering up a new one.
It didn't bend simply from Jacking. I think even my ARB would stay straight from a static load of whatever the 110 would put on the corner. It was bent because the Jackall "hilift" (apologies RN, I think it's just plain junk, not to mention dangerous) slipped down many pin holes before the ratchet pin stopped it, and, as I understood it, when it stopped it's downward plunge, the bumper failed. The bumper was laying on the floor, so I can't say if it was the mounting bolts or some part of the bumper itself that first failed, but it sure wasn't straight.
I'm pretty sure I I know who the adjuster is, so I may get more info from him when I see him. I'm going back up there next week. I'll try to remember to take my wifes point&shoot. I never figured how to get a picture out of my phone, and my DSLR seems to always be too big to post here.
For the most part, I'm enjoying the thread, so P76 & Sideview, play nice. As for other pot stirrers, well, consider the source.
