O.K. points taken.
First, series 3 guy, I lived in bkln hts for 10 years and loved it except for trying to park there. We probably bumped into each other at the dog park or cranberry's. Miss it. Moved to windsor terrace. Cool but not the same.
Now back to rovers. Pick up rover and zed, I get that these are old cars that need lots of maintainence. I was just seeing if maybe series were easier to maintain than rrc's. I want to do as much as possible of my own work on the cars. It's just that I am a rookie and have a lot to learn, so whiile I am learning, I thought maybe a series would be a good option to learn on for someone with NO skills as of yet.
Anyway, seems like I bit off more than I can chew with initial post. Probably, best thing to do is get comfortable fixing up a classic myself and then revisit a series later down the line. Niether would be suitable for daily drivers at this point it seems with my current lack of abilities so when I get a little more experience fixing rover problems than I'll get back into this. The little work I have done I really enjoy doing so once I get a foothold with the basics, it would be a wiser time to think about other rover options. I was looking to simplify and made things more complicated. Ce la vie.
So thanks for all the input.
