I went to Roverland
It was $299 I think.
It was WELL worth the money to have a factory part that works PERFECTLY.
The D1 parts new are approx $135 if you can source all the parts. You can do it used, but it is a pain in the butt. Once it is installed, It doesn't work half as well as the 04 mechanism. It still works though!
Anyway, all the above mentioned techniques work well except for the guy who said to crawl under the truck and do it manually. You will end up not switching it when you need it most. The exhaust is very hot as well. Pain in the butt to do!
