I hear ya...I've only got $2k into mine, and that's with me rebuilding the tranny. I've got a *small* stone chip that I'm going to get filled ASAP...don't want it to spread.
I'm betting that if you find the right person you may just get this taken care of...BTW don't be afraid to use your Mil status...could grease the wheels in the right direction...for instance didn't you say you were going OCONUS soon...*wink* *wink*
