I repaired the latch myself. I made a hook from an old wire coathanger. I pulled on the latch cable at the passenger side thus enabling the hood to release. The hood was frozen in the winter. When I pulled the latch from inside it broke the plastic clips that held the wire on to the latches. I replaced the latch on the driver side. It was around $24.00 I also replaced cables to both latches. They were around $45.00. The passenger side latch was too expensive for me to replace as it has the alarm attached and it is over $125.oo Please feel free to ask any questions
