I'm not one to bash so I'll make this as nice as I possibly can...
BE CAREFUL using that thing. Backyard scenarios do not compare to being bogged down in mud, caught on obstacles, or constant off road abuse. I would recommend that you save up some cash and buy yourself a bumper with an integrated winch tray. Keeps your eyes on the classifieds on the Rover forums. Used-good-condition bumpers go up for sale all the time.
With something as important as Safety & Vehicle Recovery, my advice is to not take any chances and do it right the first time.
