Yes...straight line symptoms are like its in...well...4 wheel drive. Steering was lets say...more resistant...required more pressure to move steering wheel. I was starting to get a little wheel hop/steering jerkyness on paved turns too. Didn't notice it so much on dirt though...for obvious reasons. Oh...much more noisy too.
BTW, you will need: the front drive shaft, frame mounts, shifter linkage, and a pre 96 output shaft if the LT230 is from a post 96 D1
