Probably something that I will point out is that this is mainly for show. I have invested way to much in non-OEM electronics in the truck to be taking it off road. My guess is that the most the winch will ever see is getting me out of a snow bank in some bad winter snow, if that. (If it doesn't work the 100 bucks a I spend on AAA will be my next step. )
I really hate the look of the bumpers with the integrated trays. It is just to harsh a look...at least the ones I have seen.

The BEST suggestion I could have given about the mounting solution is to have held back a bit longer to save up soem cash for a legit winchmount/tray (either Genuine LR or one from a reputable vendor/forum member Fabricator). And since you would have already been holding off, search the fourm classifieds for good value winches.
You mention its only for snow pulls. You've got a whole summer ahead of you to save some cash. For things like this, its better to go with something thats tried+true/off-the-shelf, because as others have mentioned, this
could end up being a deadly test of your fabrication decisions.
Again, no offense meant whatsoever. But I would REALLY hate to hear about a deadly accident with this thing.
