That is what I did with my 99 D2.
Do you know exactly what coils were installed on the truck, there are 4 different ones?
I am currently running 265s on my truck and when measured from the ground thru the center of the wheel up to the wheel well molding, mine sits at 36.5"s.
Anything over that and you could be getting into that grey area, where drive shaft angles will be in trouble.
Check and make sure all 3 u-joints on the front drive shaft have grease fittings, if they don't, get them replaced.
You know, going to 265's will cost you about 2 MPG in town, 1.5 on the road?
Also do you know about your t/case/CDL?
