tailgate lock problems
My first landrover 97 disco 300tdi can anyone give me a little advice please - x3 problems
prob 1 .
the rear tailgate interior black button drops back down when i attempt to open via key fob also exterior handle seems to be delatched the interior seems to latch when i hold up the lock button - the only way to open the rear door is to enter from the passenger side climb into the rear hold up the lock button i have tried the key but same result.
is there a simple diagram i could follow and a part i need to order/replace.
Problem 2
drivers side window. When i operate/open the window it seems like something is sticking it makes a huge bang sound from the fully closed position to about a drop of approx 25mm after this it operates fine. when you close there are no problems. my wife says keep it closed - sound advice!!!!
Problem 3
Water entering the front and rear sunroof
i have been told there are drain holes in the corners of the aperature when you open is there an easy way of finding
the drain holes as they must be blocked - i'll be buggered if i can find them - i have sealed the outer frames with a pro sealant. The problem has been reduced however with heavy rain water enters and leaks/drains via the electric sunroof switch thus taking out one of my main fuses - side lights lhs front and rear also the dash board lights on a dry day i have no probs
any advice would be most welcome>
