Hi there. I'm afraid there is only one thing you can do.. You need to unbolt the gear box, un bolt the engine mountings, disconect all the electrics, lift the engine out and dump it in a dumpster!!! Then get a proper engine like a 200 or 300tdi and never have a problem with water again
No. Sorry. Seriously. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head (not being a fan of the TD5) is that there is water effecting the air mass sensor. If it ticks over fine but then doesnt do anything when you rev I am guessing that the ECU isnt getting the message that there is more air comming through the intake and there for not providing any extra fuel to make it rev higher.
