Yes, that is correct, so a down side could be if you took it into a dealer(which I do not), from what I understand they could accidently erase the information so you would have to ship it back, but Powerchip would do that for free.
I would not modify yours Stolen until after your warranty is up. Besides, the 4.6 has a lot of grunt.
