AAA+ is one of the best things ever. that said, I carry a set of standard tools (metric and sae wrenches, 1/2" 3/8", and 1/4" socket set, pliers, wire crimper, channel locks, vice grips, and an adjustable) a propane torch, multi-meter, assorted wire ends, a hack saw, tie-wraps, a spare long side rear shaft, spare cv-joint, 4 qts oil, 2 qts at fluid (trans and power steering), 2+ gallons coolant, small bottle brake fluid (almost never see gtlma at the service center), wd-40, pb blaster, carb/choke cleaner, spare bulbs, extra fuses, extra tire stems, the bolt in kind, and a good book for my girlfriend.

deppending on the trip, i also keep 5 gal of potable water and a minimum of 5 gal extra fuel. just a road trip? prob not necessary.

in winter, i keep a blanket, sleeping bag, and spare food.

Most of these items i have used/needed at some point.

Mike
