The low compression would be good for a turbo, but I'd make sure you have a 5 main bearing engine. That and be prepared to go through lots of exhaust valves as they seem to burn/break easily. The cam is probably good as there is no overlap from what I remember. You could even take the oil for the turbo off the line to the head if you needed. BTW, the 77 normal hp was at the crank, not the wheels. 80 at the wheels is sweet however!
