for those who wants to change oil between dealer service interval (7500miles), Volvo 3.2L engine's filter is the same as LR2 filter. The filter is produced by Mann, but LR2 is not in the Mann's catalog yet.
I did buy a filter from LR dealer, then bought aftermarket filter for 2006 Volvo XC90 w/ 3.2L engine from

In fact, the OEM filter from LR box reads "Mann" on the filter.
So, you get exactly same part for about $7.00 instead of $14.00.
