The thing I have determined that people that are not familiar with the Discovery, or any Land Rover, have based all of their opinions and conclusions without any previous experience or knowledge....
They try to compare a Rover to a Chevy, Ford, or Toyota and we all know that that is not always applicable...
In my opinion, when discussing my Discovery with non-Rover people, I have set the bar low and assume that the guys full of crap....
Go with the Interstate... I have one and it works extremely well... When it dies, I'm heading to Costco for a Yellow Top...
