I'm pretty sure I have the same leak, I have small gobs of dried coolant on top of the valve cover - is that what you've witnessed as well? How did you know what gasket or screws to get? I'm still trying to figure out where its coming from excactly, any help would be appreciated.
As for your question obviously I haven't done it it yet but it appears straight forward but crowded around that area, that would be my only concern.

I just called LR of Anaheim Hills and the service guy told me they make a little kit for $20 with a new gasket - probably the same one you're referring to, part # MGM000010K
