I have no idea what the mpg should be on a freeloader but I cant tell you that your mileage is the same as my lifted with 33" tires V8 range rover classic. So something is definitely wrong and given that code is known to cause a loss of power above 3000 rpm and loss of fuel economy maybe it's time to fix it or enjoy the gas guzzling.
