silicone sealer is not what I had.. It was caulk. paintable house caulk. Its an old "rv" trick to use silicone like that too. More or less like RTV..


This almost destroyed the seat box trying to get it out. It was dried hard HARD. TOok a chisel to get it off.

What gets silicone off anyway? Its pretty inert stuff. I've never tried to get parbond off something.. but i've had a hell of a time getting "automotive goop" off paint.

I'll get some pics when its assembled fully and out of the garage. It just looks like a land rover with paint. Though I am curious as to what people think of the color.. is it pastel green? What I had was painted at least 3 different times and oxidized to high hell I don't know what it looked like originally. I think mine has less blue in it though.
