It has never happened to me but.... I would assume that part of the incline function runs on gears. You might try buying a handful of 40 fuses and gently <keyword gently> help the seat up as you press the button. I have noticed that fuses blow in the seat when you press the button in a direction that the seat can't go anymore... Btw, it wouldn't surprise me for some else to chime in with, "Whatever you do, don't do that!"
