I have no idea what year you have so take this reply with a grain of salt.
My Range Rover Classic has a round dome light next to the switch with to plastic screw lock type fastners. Loosen those and the cover, light and switch will come off. There you will see the motor and some wires. I used a large flat tip screw driver on the plastic portion where the land rover manual crank fits in to crank it down.
If you have a newer one I'm sure the idea is the same just maybe a different access point or location.
