Question Should I buy a Disco II 1999 with 167K

Disco II 1999 SD, leather seats in great shape all electrical things work.

I'm looking at it tomorrow morning again. We are taking it to the mechanic who has been servicing it for 3 years so I can meet him and I can ask him all kinds of questions. Then to my LR mechanic to take a 2nd look. The owner is asking under $3000. for it. He says it needs nothing. I drove it with my wife 2 days ago and It drove great! We were both impressed! It looks like it's been semi-babied. Should I buy it???

Radiator and alternator was changed last year also the trany oil and filter changed. Brakes, rotors and front shocks replaced this summer.

What are the issues that can go wrong with a Disco 1999 II with 167k miles on it. I've seen a few with 170K to 200K.

What should I ask his mechanic? My RRC, has 190,000 and it's still running. Can this Disco last that long? Should I ask if the timing belt and camshaft has been changed? WHAT ELSE SHOULD I CHECK FOR??

Thanks guys
Dave
