He also fond three tie rod ends bad, and replaced it under warranty.

Front transfer case? Adrian, there is only one transfer case, are you talking about the front driveshaft?
How could changing the fluid in the transfer case get rid of a vibration? I think your problem was the tie rod ends and not the TC or driveline.
