What she is refering to is the carrier bearings in the rear driveshaft. Either the rubbers around the bearing separate and the driveshaft knocks or the bearings become real noisey. You don't have to replace the driveshaft. You can get carrier bearing kits from the dealer. Not real bad to install unless the yokes are seized but with a little elbow grease you can do it. I have done many. They just want to replace the whole shaft because it's easier.
