No much difference at all on the 92 and 97 ( except lights but hard to see ), the interior on the 97 some had piping ( mine did ) and the wheels in 97 there was the optional BBS and the Brembo brakes ( again optional ). Wheel size, HP
The BIG difference will be if it is a 850 CSI instead of a 850 CI or 850 CIA.
The easy way to tell the difference is the Price tag ( 50K+ )
The CSI had wider body, wheels, an M engine amongst few.
Again, I don't know if you are going to use it as a casual driver, but the clutch tends to be a PITA if in slow traffic ( hard clutch like 911T, Lambos, Ferrari etc ).
I loved, ABSOLUTELY loved my automatic, and playing with the gears is just as fun.
