hey man im probably going to be able to help you with your sunroof and to be honest i have never even been inside a freelander but i know in my discovery II were the sunroof button is there sould be a what looks to be a switch blank pop it off and you will see a hole you can put a allen wrench in and you can turn it to manually close. hope this helps sorry couldnt help more.
