Talking How much is to MUCH!! water in your intake?

I found out something out today. Well I'll start by saying my MAF sensor was going out (lean, trans codes) Well the week after the codes popped, we got a real big rain storm. They are rare hear in SoCal, so I went out to enjoy the wet earth. The area I went to was filled with water (which was great) road where now creeks and creeks where now rivers.

I'll put it like this, I thought the water couldn't not be more than 2 or 3 feet... as it was coming over my hood. I said sh%t better roll up the windows. By luck, the water only came up to the door handles and the hole wasn't to long only 15 or 20 feet. She stayed alive and I kept playing so more water (bottom headlight deep only) and some mud.

Like I said before the SES light was already on so I didn't think anything of it. I ran the codes for the hell of it and I got a couple new ones ( I am a knuckle head) I erased them before I wrote the new ones down. Anyway, since then no extra codes have showed up.

Today I got my new MAF sensor in and went to install it. As I remove the top of my airbox I noticed dried dirt water in the airbox, filter, MAF, plastic intake tube and the water catch(I don't know if that is it's name but, it looks like one). I wiped all the dirt out and blew out my air filter, put my new MAF in and started good, idled smooth and no codes popped.

Is there anything I should be aware of as a possible problem? All fluids have been checked or changed, 200 miles later and nothing seems wrong.

I will be the first to admit, it was very dumb of me to drive through that hole. Now with that said, I am hella impressed by how deep and far she went and came out the other side ok. By the way , on my way back in. As I passed that same hole I found two Jeeps who were prepping to get towed , like wet cats.( Jeeps 0 , Disco 1 )

Side note- I have no snorkel and no sense

Cheers
Cody
