Hey guys...

So I got my CV already, but I'm still waiting on the Grease, Rotors and Pads because I want to do it all in one shot...but just a few minutes ago, as I took my foot off the accelerator, I heard a grinding sound...almost the same as a warped rotor under braking, but without the vibrations. Could this be that the race within the joint has totally shattered, leaving the axle to move around more than it ever should? Since its the left CV, and since the left axle is the longerst, I would think that if that was the case, there would be a terrible vibration. Someone please guide me in the right path, since this is me daily driver and I would not be able to leave it parked while it gets serviced in my driveway.

Thanks in advance!
