Starting noise problem
Hope someone can help !!!!
I have recently purchased a 2000/W plate freelander xei 1.8,i have noticed when starting (hot or cold) their is a grinding noise just after the engine starts and then goes, i have had the starter motor changed but the problem is still there.You cannot hear the noise from the engine bay just inside the vehicle, any comments would be helpfull, the main dealer via our garage has been unable to diagnos this problem.
