Head gasket problems
Hello everyone out there. My 1999 Xei engine gave up at less than 30.000 miles and a week before the end of warranty at a local independant garage we had bought the car when it was 3 years old. it gave me no warning at all on the dashboard, the garage fixed the problem i paid a small amount for upgraded lotus parts(metal location pins apparantly) and the car has been fine since its been 2 yrs. Before reading the posts on this excellent site i had never heard of a problem with the gauges or temp sender has anyone ever retro fitted a beter temp Gauge and should i replace the temp sender for a new one. Any thoughts would be good.
