For the 4.0, you'll need an ignition kit that works with a distributorless ignition system. See my post above for some MSD kits that will work on your truck.

The 3.9 and older engines have a single ignition coil that feeds the spark. This plugs into the distributor, which sends the spark to the proper cylinder. On the 4.0 and newer engines, this system is replaced by several small coils that feed individual cylinders. These coil packs are triggered in the proper sequence by the computer, and everything is handled electronically. Unfortunately, these systems tend to lose spark intensity at high RPMs. The MSD kits I linked above will help boost spark power and increase performance without the traditional coil & distributor ignition.

I've never really dealt with distributorless systems, so I can't really recommend one of those over the others, that's just what I got from the MSD website. Good luck!
