Take the air filter off and try again. It may be blocked with mud.
Take all the spark plugs out and see if the engine spins over OK. Check the plugs for water / mud contamination before replacing. (Don’t stand near the open plugholes, you don’t know what may be spat out!)
Has it actually got a flat battery?
Is the spark at the plugs nice and fat? (A weak spark will go out under compression inside the engine)
The very worst case would be bent con rods due to hydraulic lock up. Symptoms may be a stiff engine and some very funny noises, or it may show up by checking the compression pressures.
