Hi,

I would like to check in with fellow members here and see if i can get some suggestions/advice on items I, or anyone for that matter, should replace/maintain on our trucks. I bought my truck not too long ago and havent done anything to it. I'm in the process of selling but am treating it as if I'm keeping her for a while, who knows, i might.

The info i'm looking for would look something like this:

Oil- what kind are you using?
Oil Filter- which one to buy?
Brake fluid- ?
Air filter- ?
Power steering fluid- ?
Tranny fluid- ?
Brake pads- ?
Spark plugs- ?

So on and so forth. I hope to make this a comprehensive thread that one can search in the future and find all the answers here.

FYI, i have a 1995 RRC 4.2L.

Thanks in advance.

Oil- what kind are you using: Shell Rotella 15w40 winter temps vary so use your judgement
Oil Filter- which one to buy: Bosch, Napa Gold/Wix, Mobil 1, K&N
Brake fluid- Catrol GTX LMA is the "correct" answer, I just use standard, no issues
Air filter- Napa Gold/Wix
Power steering fluid-
Tranny fluid-
Brake pads- I use the Napa premiums some people prefer OEM, some EBC
Spark plugs- Champion Copper Core

Never buy Fram they have been proven time and again to cause oil pressure issues in Land Rovers.

Thanks ArmyRover, I'll put a different one in and avoid in the future.
