You're right the LR is winching out the jeep. Classic picture, I had to post it!
The jeep broke his rear axle that's why he had to be winched out. However, for years he has been wheeling with stock axles and ARB lockers and 4.11 gears. He is an excellent wheeler (even if it is in a jeep).
