Default Girling Brake Master Cylinder

Hey Guys,

I have an early Series IIA (sometime around 1963). I bought it recently and went to do the brake work and I noticed the master cylinder is a girling 3/4" bore master cylinder not the standard CV type cylinder.

I'm having trouble bleeding the brakes and I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with this master cylinder or can anyone think of any reason why this wouldn't work as well or better than the CV.

Thanks,

Randy
