Are they a bolt-on swap to a late Series III (1981)? Or does the latch on the body-side need to be swapped to match as well? How about fit? They look to be the same dimensions, but are they? Just curious. I thought it would be a nice simple upgrade without changing the outward look too much (normal door handles and one big window).

The doors are directly interchangable I used an M10 or 12 bolt through the pillar for the latch for the door (where the s3 striker plate is located) worked great and cheap too
