If its the switch in the right hand side its probably the inertia fuel cut off.It shuts the fuel pump down and turns on the hazard warning lights if you crash.The fuel door is controlled by the BECM,The easiest route if the supply is staying on is to trace the live wire in the trunk and put a switch on it.Or wire the original switch to the actuator.BECM don't come cheap
